This was when we were put into our initial groups. We then introduced ourselves to each other and took each other's contact details phone numbers and email address. In order to keep in contact with each other. As a group we decided one person was to go into the Mac suite and set up our team's website while the others brainstormed possible team names, listed below:
We also thought of ideas on how we wanted our logo to look. At first we wanted a specific writing then we thought it would be more engaging if we had an image to support this.
We briefly discussed the subgenre we wanted our trailer to be based on two members of the group wanted supernatural/ phycological while the other two wanted slasher

In this meeting we discussed all our concept ideas, however Kayne was unable to do his as he did not know where his concept was and as he had to leave early. we thought of the different sub-genres and possible settings for the trailer. We then individually

In today's lesson, we pitched our 3 concepts to the class, while doing this our peers were asked to fill in a feedback sheet telling us the positives and negatives on each concept. We then had to do the same for others. Moreover We was giving feedback on treatment they felt they liked the best. However they wasn't able to help us choose one because one of our fellow members was not able to come in.

During the lesson we had to finish off our concept ideas as a class and the final member Kayne who was unable to pitch his idea on the lesson before done so and the class voted for the concept they wanted us to make our final products on. The concept chosen was HUSH. We came back into our groups and talked about this. We wanted to make some changes to things such as the tagline and synopsis as we all didn't think they were effective enough. Kayne shows the team his finished logo idea and as a team we all thought there are some changes to be made and he took notes and said he will work on it.We briefly moved on to start creating a big treatment sheet with details on the trailer we will be making.

Belkis ✔ Sarah ✔ Abi ✔ Kayne ✔ In this lesson we continued to work in our individual/ group which we had already allocated before the half term. Abi and Belkis went off to take pictures and videos of the locations we would be using in our film trailer for the Location Recce tab. Sarah went into the mac room to upload the YouTube videos she made through the half term at home. Also she continued to watch videos on YouTube and included them onto the Make-Up and Costume tab and wrote about them. Kayne also started on the research into existing Horror Sounds which we could possible use for our Horror trailer. |

Today We was filming our horror teaser trailer. We all came in an hour before filming so we could sort out the shooting -scripts and make adjustments if needed. We had to use our time wisely seeing as we had until 12.15. The first scene we shot was the music room we did this because the shots didn't require any make-up, so it will be quick.

As a class we had to show our class our trailer and we got feedback from them as to the areas that were good and areas we had to improve. In addition i realised that our trailer came out with the captions in the wrong place and this is a tip for me as the editor to not rush any work, because i only included the sound in at the last minute and while doing so caused some of the edited contents to move. From the given feedback we can now all go to make the suggested changes to our work to create amazing final products
