We are Kayne, Abi, Belkis and Sarah
GRAVEYARD STUDIOS
We will be working together as a team to produce a teaser trailer for a film concept (which will also be broadcast on YouTube), horror film magazine featuring our film and film poster for the coursework unit of the A2 Media qualification. We will be assessed on our team decisions and how our individual skills are used together to produce our final pieces. We have been grouped in accordance with grades we achieved for horror research we individually conducted over the summer holidays.
We will individually develop our own concepts and present these to other groups, gathering feedback before choosing the best one to develop further and take into production. In order to ensure preparation and planning is done thoroughly, we will complete different stages in the lead-up to the completion of our final pieces:
To complete all of the stages we will have to conduct group meetings, listening to each other and taking all ideas and suggestions into consideration - communication is vital for success! Each of us have different skills, characteristics and strengths that we can bring to the group so we can make great final products. We have individually taken on roles within our team so the coursework unit can be successfully completed.

In order to ensure preparation and planning is done thoroughly, we will complete different stages in the lead-up to the completion of our final pieces:
- Development (research, concepts and treatments, textual analyses)
- Pre-Production (drafting, moodboards, trailer storyboard/animation, audience resarch)
- Production (script planning, trailer filming prep, filming)
- Post-Production (evaluation of our work and progress)
- In what ways does your media production use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
- How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
- What have you learned from your audience feedback?
- How did you use media technologies in construction, research, planning and evaluation stages?
To complete all of the stages we will have to conduct group meetings, listening to each other and taking all ideas and suggestions into consideration - communication is vital for success! This is the final version of the film poster for our concept. This photo was taken and a hot wax effect was added to it, giving the illusion of hell-like existence that links to the antagonist being a serial killer. A distinctive and iconic font, 'Crimes Times Six' was used across all the final products in a bold shade of red for continuity and ease of recognition for the audience.
A series of photographs were taken for the film poster and magazine. From these the most appropriate was chosen for the front cover in relation to its composition.
